not that they aren't metal anymore and aren't really good anymore asking alexandria has a new album called see whats on the inside coming out October 1st and dropped a new single called alone again

 

Are they bad just for writing riffy/hooky "butt rock" songs?

I never listened to their older stuff to be honest, so it's hard for me to compare. But to me they just sound like they're trying to make harmless radio rock.

I think it’s cuz of what they used to be to what they are now. Personally I don’t have a problem with them but it seems they get a lot of hate here

 

I don't think we discuss AA here much in general. They were that cheesy mallcore stuff, throw in that they're a Christian band it's not very appealing.

That said, I really enjoyed some of their earlier tracks. The intro to The Final Episode still slaps for me haha.

Did they get a new vocalist. He sounds like a hobgoblin.

 

Pretty sure it's the same guy they've had. Definitely at least the same vocalist that was on Blood In Blood Out for sure.
