my wife liked the song when i played it while working yesterday. she hates metal and hardcore. if it passes her sniff test, then it's not metal.

Honestly, it’s a pretty good deathcore album.

 

I fucking love that band. Their album from last year was definitely in my top ten. I'd class them more as death metal though - although I haven't heard this new release yet so maybe they shifted their sound.

 

I think it could go either way. They tow the line between deathcore and death metal.

 

The way the deathcore scene is going nowadays the line is becoming more and more blurred as a lot of bands are taking that mixed approach.

 

Deathcore will make a comeback one day

Finally checked out Frozen Soul. Fucking rips

 

One of my favorite releases of the year so far.

 

I fell off the wagon in the past year or so but when I was still knee-deep in the scene back in mid-late 2019 things just kept getting better and better TBH. The songwriting chops were becoming truly incredible.

 

It's so chunky and good
