So bad. I used to work at Tower records and someone I used to work with was in a band that played with them a few times. He had nothing nice to say about anyone in that band

I don't think anyone has mentioned this record in here. It's a very dark, primal, industrial, heavy album, with African beats and haunting filtered vocals.

 

I saw a post on pitchfork describing them as grind core, and I checked out the single, which decidedly was not grind core. I will peep the record at some point.

Nothing surprises me in 2020 anymore.

 

I know that Atreyu isn’t a particularly new band, but everybody in that band looks so fucking old

 

so my /350 press of the new Svalbard album arrived today and HOLY FUCK WOULD YOU LOOK AT THIS THING???

 

It matches what you have it placed on very well!

 

Despite how old they are they still put on a hell of a show. Saw them with Unearth a couple of years ago.

 

The new Benediction album does a pretty good job of scratching that itch that Bolt Thrower left when they broke up. Having the same guy who did vocals on Honour - Valour - Pride on this album also helps that connection.
