Hell yeah @Jon Serpent Column is sick. Double hell yeah to Demolition Hammer and @riotspray on that Exodus song. My THRASH METAL THVRSDAY selections are as follows:

Deathstorm - "Funeral Depths" - new single that came out yesterday for their album in July. Sick Austrian thrash akin to Kreator.
Ravencult - Force of Profanation - "Tormentor of Flesh" - really angry sounding Greek black/thrash.
Hellripper - Coagulating Darkness - "Annelise" - one of my favorite discoveries in the past few years. One man black/speed from the UK. More speed than thrash but that never hurt anyone.

    Today's three for the playlist:

Meth Leppard - Woke - Endless Prawn (Aussie grind duo that absolutely destroys)

The Ruins of Beverast - Exuvia - Maere (On a Stillbirth's Tomb) (Soundtrack to societal collapse)

Black Breath - Heavy Breathing - I Am Beyond (Because every playlist needs a mid-tempo Entombedcore romp)

Dirty old-school style sludge metal ala Noothgrush/Grief from British Columbia. I dig it a lot.

Beat me to the Black Breath rec. One of my favorite bands that basically disappeared.

    - Job For A Cowboy - No idea what/if Job for a Cowboy is doing anything specifically, but three of the guys from the band put out the Serpent of Gnosis album last year. Their most recent ex-drummer is also in Umbra Vitae and Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats.
    - Black Breath - Their bassist passed away late last year. In their memorial post for him in January, they said they currently have no plans to record or play live. One of their guitarists plays in Theories. Another one of their ex-guitarists plays and fronts Supercrush IIRC.

Every time I read There's a Wocket In My Pocket! I get the urge to listen to Noothgrush.

Also, my daughter likes to dance to the sound of the blender, so I think she's going to be into extreme metal.

I would play YOB, and Pallbearer for my son when he was younger. They would legit put him to sleep when I rocked him. So I think he’s gonna love Sludge/doom later in life

Damn! I was gonna post White Ward soon lol

In honor of Mis Sigs teasing something (and me wearing my Mis Sigs shirt today coincidentally) I'm gonna lean towards metallic hardcore today. It's also a very simple history lesson.

Shai Hulud - Misanthropy Pure - "Chorus of the Dissimilar" - without this band we wouldn't have the next one...
Misery Signals - Mirrors - "Sword of Eyes" - these guys heavily influenced the last band...
Counterparts - The Difference Between Hell and Home - "Compass" - and the course of history takes us here. Listen to all three in that order.

    Three Tracks:

    BEAR: Apollo's Heist
    Catharsis influenced Metal.

    Strongarm: Advent of a Miracle
Metallic hardcore in the vein of @theagentcoma’s picks (I actually think these guys may have preceded Shai Hulud)

Nora: Nobody Takes Pictures of the Drummer
Sticking with the metallic hardcore theme. This album also turned 15 years old.
