Listened to Frozen Soul today, pretty good

Just saw Fuming Mouth tonight and holy shit they are amazing

 

another band local today. they just dropped an Entombed cover (yesterday, I think) that everyone should check out.

 

I've been dying to see them ever since The Grand Descent dropped. FINALLY gonna get to see them tonight. Creeping Death(!!!) Chamber, Rotting Out and The Acacia Strain will be icing on the cake.

 

Seen them a few times this past year but I haven’t yet as a four piece

 

I like them and Sangria Sugar Booger quite a bit. That band Mourned just signed to them and they are siiick

 

Isn't one of the Creeping Death dudes playing with them right now? Not sure if he's just a touring member or what the deal is.

 

Two times I’ve seen them they’ve had the drummer for Creeping Death. The guy who played on the record is busy with Ghostemane I think?

Full of Hell meets Atari Teenage Riot

 

Gotcha. Lincoln (Creeping Death's drummer) gets around. I've seen him play with 3-4 different local bands and another touring act that's not coming to mind right now.

I was thinking it was actually their 2nd guitar player (who also plays in local band Kombat) that was playing with Fuming Mouth, but I could be wrong. I guess I'll find out in a few hours.

 

Blackened Thrash. Full album out March 20th.

 

Frozen Soul is track 8, but this whole thing is pretty cool.

 

Discovered this band through an interview of another band in the same scene. This is very good thrash/death metal.

 

Has anyone ever listened to the band Sleep Token? Not sure if they fit in completely with this thread, but they’ve got some metal tendencies. I’ve only listened to their 2019 album Sundowning and think it’s pretty solid, but I’m wondering what others think too

 

I heard it. It’s not really metal per se but they dip their toes in it. I would say they are closer to new wave or post punk. A lot of theories say it’s the singer of Don Broco. I know their whole gimmick is being anonymous.
