@Dust Of Fallen Rome have you heard of Proposal? Sort of melodic hardcore meets metalcore in the vein of bands like Counterparts, Shai Hulud, etc.

 

Sounds like something I'd like. Adding them to "the list"

 

They put out an EP this month.

 

Had a listen and I enjoyed it. I'm not really on this style much these days but I dug this. I definitely hear the Shai Hulud and that's never a bad thing!

 

you didn't hear this from me but a well-respected metal band who released their second album two and a half years ago are announcing album three soon. I don't know when exactly but soon.

 

I don't know if this song is exactly metal but it's Ozzy Osbourne so it can jam. My housemate bought the Beavis & Butthead Do America soundtrack on vinyl and we sat and listened to it the other day, and I firmly believe this is by far the best song on it

He also got Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe and I will fight anyone who disagrees that it isn't one of the greatest releases of the late 90s...

I missed this earlier this week, a new surprise 2-song Panopticon EP. So far, it sounds like the metal half of the latest album...the production is a bit underwhelming though. Need to digest it a bit more TBH.

 

Hmmm when did they split the last album in two on Spotify? I remember it being one full album.

 

Another band local to me. Can't wait to finally see them in a few weeks.
