I saw them the last time I saw KSE for their Halloween show. Very good live!

 

Hmmmmm. Not bad.

 

Of course this fucking gets announced for after I plan my move away from Chicago.

 

I bet seeing KSE on Halloween was a blast. I can only imagine what Adam was wearing.

 

A beer can! Jesse was wearing all this goth makeup and it kept dripping all over his face and said: “how the hell do all these goth/Black Metal bands wear this makeup!!!”

 

Reminded me heavily of some earlier BTBAM albums.

Gonna be HIGH on my AOTY list. The dickheads at the original venue changing the times made me miss his philly show because of work.

 

oooh commute home listening. i'll report back later once i get through that banger.

 

Volume on the leak is strangely low. Album is cool though, I love when metal albums are fun.

 

i'll probably wait for the full album drop on Friday then. :/

 

It might be a vinyl rip? There was a picture of the vinyl with the download and I can occasionally hear some crackling in otherwise silent parts. Still sounds pretty good when you crank it up though.

I'm kinda upset that this is the same day as Silverstein/Hawthorne Heights/As Cities Burn/Capstan, but I'll be at Thou... unless I try to swing both.

 

This band ripped.

 

No disrespect to those four bands, but Thou PUNISHES live. It'd be an easy choice for me. :)

 

A repost of one of the better albums from last year from a band that's currently somewhere in between an indefinite hiatus and broken up. RIP.

 

Oh, I'd absolutely choose Thou over the other 4 if it came down to it. I've never seen Thou and I've seen 3/4 other bands, Silverstein multiple times, plus I've only heard great things about Thou live. I'll be at the Thou show.

The other show probably starts much earlier though, so I may try to catch the first couple bands and just leave prior to Silverstein to go catch Thou. We'll see.

 

Never been a huge fan of the band but the new Dir En Grey album fucks pretty hard

 

Sounds like a solid plan. Only one thing I might note, Thou is very big on doing all-ages shows so if they're only doing one date in your city it may very likely start pretty early. The show here in Chicago that Thou headlined last summer started at 6 PM...which was a pain to get to from work in rush hour traffic.

 

Good to know. If thats the case I may just go to Thou and skip the other show all together.

 

I am liking that they are going back to their older style.
