It seems that the album Christmas by OMG is the most well received one. Though it’s not on Spotify. I love No though.

 

Got around to some sick stuff this morning.

It cracks me up every time I think about how Old Man Gloom fucked with critics by releasing a fake version of Ape of God as a promo and some writers actually got whiny and indignant about it lmao

 

old man gloom may put out albums every god knows when but they're always relevant thanks to santos' mastering of facebook

I think this is a terrible description. Architects is much more diverse and well-rounded than BMTH ever was.

 

My favorite albums (and arguably their best) are Hollow Crown, Daybreaker, and Lost Forever. I think while they may have gotten a little redundant on the last album, these are really great releases and I think the new single is pretty damn good as well. Their best song in a bit.

How so? Their evolution from straightforward metalcore to pop rock has been very gradual.

 

Also, there's no $$$$$$ in straightforward metalcore anymore.

Bandcamp diving brought a golden ep to my ears tonight.

 

Like in the sense that when I started listening to them when I was 18/19, they were a deathcore/metalcore act and now at 30, they’re this synth rock act. Like I never would’ve expected them to be where they are now in 2007 and it’s wild to look back at who they used to be in 2018 if that makes any sense.

 

That is an interesting lineup for a KSE tour.

This has been one of my favourite heavy releases of the year. The vocalist sounds absolutely deranged. Also, with it being so short it's so easy to just listen to it 2/3 times in a row!
