Anything out tomorrow besides Devildriver and Immortal that I should check out?

 

The Immortal album is bonkers good, and it's a bit different than their past few releases with Abbath at the helm. It's more in line with their earlier stuff, for better or worse depending on your tastes. Also...yay for still being on Nuclear Blast's pre-release list 7+ years after I stopped doing college radio.

Other stuff I'm planning on checking out:

Secret Cutter (on Deathwish and Holy Roar - I think that's all you need to know).
Satan (old school British heavy metal that's been around for 30+ years)
Bongripper (chicago's own weed smoking satan worshipping doomlords)
Runespell (black metal tm)
Burial Invocation (Turkish death metal on Dark Descent)

 

Thanks. I liked the 2 pre-release tracks from the Immortal album so I'm excited for that one. I'll check out Secret Cutter and Bongripper for sure, never heard of the former and didn't realize the latter had anything coming out.

I'll probably check out all of the rest too, since I have nothing but metal on my radar for tomorrow.

 

I'm at the point where Holy Roar/Deathwish gets an instant listen from me lol

My doctor recommended I cut back on my weekly intake of THRASH METAL THVRSDAY so I'll be submitting a little less today and in turn supplementing it with DEATH METAL THVRSDAY

How about some solid US death/thrash? Came out digitally last month, physical release will be towards the end of July. The band name is dumb and the logo/artwork is lacking but it's pretty good for a debut, don't let those things dissuade you:

I mentioned some death metal, and I've been sleeping on the new Taphos album. Wish I had jumped on it sooner. Murky and heavy Incantation-core from Denmark, if that's your thing (it's mine for sure):

Lastly, just a new video for Immolation's single from last year's Atonement. Is there another band as consistent in terms of quality??

Album Of The Week: Pagan's Black Wash — Kerrang!

I'd never heard of them before, but I'm listening now and enjoying it quite a bit.

 

I want to see Power Trip play a house show before I die...not that it'll ever happen at this point if they keep getting bigger.

 

I just want some stromboli.
