The 50 best metal albums of 2018 (so far)

Some good, some huh? on these lists, but there are a few things on here I still need to check out.

 

I personally just think Ghost are boring. They do what they do well, but I can't personally dig it. I'm as far from "trve" as they come, I just genuinely don't enjoy anything they do. They are cheesy in a way that I cannot get behind. No hatred toward them or their fans, I just happen to not click with their sound.

Not a huge fan of Ghost, but they have some decent songs. Their shtick is what it is. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I can't judge it when I like some other bands that have those type of spectacles as a part of their live show like Batushka, GWAR, or Ghoul.

 

New Black Tusk track. More of the same from these guys, but they rip it so well that I am not gonna complain.

The third ex-Vital Remains vocalist to die in the last year? Shit. RIP.

 

Ugh they sold out here. Should be a great show!

 

They’re doing 2 nights at Reggie’s and I think one night still has tickets available.

 

Mirror Reaper still floors me every time I have a spare 80+ minutes to listen to it.

I saw them live a couple weeks ago! They killed it opening for Self Defense Family and Sannhet.

Exactly my thoughts on this tour as well. I've been dying to see all three of those openers again for a while so I'm fucking stoked about this one.
