Eh. Again, I hate to be the Debbie Downer in this thread, but I would have been a lot more excited about that five years ago. Meanwhile, I currently get morw excited for stuff like this:

From one of the dudes in Mgla's live line-up and produced by the Mgla mastermind, M, himself. The riffing on this is bananas for a black metal album. I dig it a lot, and it'll be a nice stopgap until we get a new Mgla album.

 

I waited until 2018 to listen to Running Wild. I've wasted 3 decades of my life not doing so

They're power/speed metal, like if Iron Maiden sang about pirate stuff. It's not normally my cup of tea but it's pretty fun. I listened to Death or Glory and very much enjoyed it. Here's the opening track:

Sorry for my very late reply. I been focused with school and all, but yeah. I'm not a huge Decapitated fan so this case didn't really harm me that much. I was curious how other metalheads felt about it, though. And it's a shame Witek died at such a young. I read about that months ago, poor soul.

 

On a lighter note, how about some Japanese black metal?

 

I don't know why but songs with that noodly fretless bass thing going on always bug me a little. Not to the point of disliking the song or anything, and it's obviously technically impressive and takes talent. Song's good though.

 

Also I guess they announced the new album as well
