Expectations are high.

 

Really wanted to see Dead To Fall, but that tour didn't come here.

 

The DC show was so sick. They brought Kris Norris on stage to play "Doomsayer" with the band and some other old members also joined them for "For The Soul And Savior" and "The Sadist Nation." Think they played one song from every record except The Human Romance.

I enjoyed the last record too, even though there's a few awkward pop metal songs.

 

I'm keeping my expectations low. The last two albums were disappointing to me, IMO, as someone who got into Darkest Hour during the Undoing Ruin era.

Regret missing the Undoing Ruin tour, but that shit sold out in like two days here in Chicago.

 

Enjoying this new Fallujah record so far.

On Pleiades' Dust, Gorguts Deliver a Total Fucking Masterpiece | MetalSucks (Metal Sucks' Review)

Colored Sands was a good, interesting listen for me. Haven't listened to anything else by them, but excited for something new.

 

The Ozzfest part of that Ozzfest/Knotfest combo looks really good.

 

So Sharon hasn't left Ozzy then? Just a big publicity stunt?

what do you guys think of Miss May I? another crappy metalcore band or do you think they are actually okay?

 

Another crappy metalcore band, IMO.

 

I liked their last album enough, but they only have a couple songs I like outside of that. Fun live, though.

 

I've seen them live twice now and they're great live. I'm honestly not too big into their music but they have a few good songs.

 

I've seen them twice as well. Once at Warped Tour and once at Welcome To Rockville. I kinda like the music they make but I'm not gonna start a Miss May I album collection anytime soon. Pretty good live imo but nowhere near as good as Anthrax was at Rockville.

 

Musically speaking, my opinion on Miss May I is greater. Jerod Boyd is a great drummer and uses his kit a lot better than what most of you other run of the mill metalcore drummers and they have seemed in their guitar riffs to switch they're style album to album which isn't quite ideal but it makes for a good mix when you see them live.
