I will never forget buying the s/t when it came out and being so upset lol. Even when I was 15 I knew it was dogshit.

Heard a song from the new one and it sounds good though

 

I don't know if anyone listens to podcasts but the Metalsucks podcast has Terrence Hobbs from Suffocation on this week talking about the new record, etc.

It comes out June 9th.

Interesting read about heavy metal culture within Iran and the dangers associated with it.

 

Metal websites in general tend to be cringeworthy and the users on them as well. I stick to reading the news quickly and move on. To answer your question: When they stick to the interviews its honestly really good and they ask some great questions. They tend to lose me when they go off on a tangent with some of the news they report and comment on. In the end, you take from it what you want to.

The Contortionist has shifted directions

 

They changed direction on Language and this is pretty consistent with that. I really like Michael but I prefer him in Last Chance to Reason.

 

Yeah for The Contortionist it's pretty meh

For some other band it's not bad

 

Yeah, their first two records were great!
