I am not sure anyone in here listens to the Peer Pressure Podcast but it is Dewey from the band Anatomy of a Ghost. This week is an interview I think a lot of people in this thread would enjoy. Aaron Turner from Isis, Sumac, Old Man Gloom, Mammifer, etc. I am going to go back and check out his discography as Isis are on of my favorite bands.

 

Isis and Old Man Gloom are aces.

stetson's work with bon iver is awesome of course and his experimental solo sax stuff is also great. this however...wow

The first 4 In Flames records are some of the very best metal records of all time. No other death metal band wrote melodies this good

 

The Jester Race is a masterpiece

 

Yeah, kinda wishing I'd have gone to their show the other night. Wanted to see Kataklysm (who opened)

 

Everything they've released since Come Clarity has been hot, hot garbage though minus a few select cuts. After listening to that track, it's hard to believe that we're talking about the same band.
