God "I Can't Stop Drinking" would be a great mid/late set swayer.

 

I think it would definitely be a decent "breather" in between everyone losing their minds during the show. I just wonder if they'll go ahead and play a 5 minute track?

 

They played "Transient Love" a lot when Rented World came out and that's way more of a mood killer, I think.

 

I think "Strain Your Memory" is the only song that hasn't stuck with me at all after a few listens.

 

They actually always closed with it, I could see them doing that with Drinking as well

 

Yeah I remember not loving it live when they played it. I think I Can't Stop Drinking would do better than that track in a live setting.

Honestly this might be an unpopular opinion, but I wish they would do away with Ava House live. I feel like that song drags live and it has become my "go to bathroom/get a drink" song lol

 

AGREED. Also, the problem with Transient Love live is that really slow beginning.

 

What do we think they'll play live from this on the upcoming tour? I'm guessing:

The more I listen to this, the more I really love the way it sounds. Production works well imo

 

I think that's a pretty good guess as those are the new songs they chose to play at the Creep Records acoustic show Friday, outside of High School Friend. I do hope they play High School Friend since that chorus would be fun live. Also interested to see where they would place I Can't Stop Drinking if that gets included in the setlist.

 

I would be shocked if they didn’t play it at my show, at least (in portland lol).

 

Alright this is starting to grow on me. Strain Your Memory and London Drugs are both standouts for me.

Finally got around to this and I’m so happy that they finally made a proper fall album.

 

Anyone else have skipping on their vinyl? I got the peach colored one. I got side A to not skip but side B is still giving me issues. Especially on I Can't Stop Drinking.

In this moment I would say America, Strain Your Memory, and Farewell Youth are my clear 3 favorites.
