Six songs in and I think my favorite is the title track.

Thank you for this! I hadn't paid enough attention to the song names so far and didn't even realize, but that would have seriously bummed me out.

 

Just finished my first listen and I dig it a lot! Vocal production doesn't bother me when listening to it as a whole.

Less immediate than ATP, but I like that because I think it will reward repeat listens.

I feel like Farewell Youth has been my favorite song for years.

 

Vinyl has arrived. Fuck yes.

 

I've been spelling it "fairwell" because I'm a fucking idiot.

Having the line “I’m whiskey drunk in the Shoprite parking lot” on a song called “I Can’t Stop Drinking” is truly peak Menzingers.

 

the reviews in here seem all positive yet all over the place - thinking about menz having a country/americana sound is intriguing lol

I know the vocal production was a sticking point for a lot of people with "Anna," but I really like the cavernous sound of this record so far. It just sounds huge.

 

As a former employee of Shoprite, this speaks to me.

 

Definitely less immediate. Gotta admit i was a little bored at times. But i was also running while listening to it so unfair to judge this album while doing that.

 

Sounds like it's gonna be a great car record, like it's made to be played super loud

 

Going to test this theory in a couple hours here.

Yeah, I dig the production on this, but I’ve never had a problem with Yip and I get why some of you don’t care for it.

 

I have to be honest I'm not the biggest Menzingers fan. Mostly I just listen to the first 4 songs on OTIP. But this album I love. I think it's their best overall.

 

Only on London Drugs, but Tom definitely playing second fiddle here more than on previous records.

 

I am liking this version of the Menzingers more than the others (for the most part)

 

Have they gone full Gaslight on this one?
