Listened to Bedlam for the first time recently. Really my only blindspot in both ATDI/TMV discography. Pretty dope. I’ve obviously I’ve heard cuts like Goliath before but not the whole album.

 

Just curious which album did they stop taking Opiates?

 

The Bedlam In Goliath is one of my favorite TMV records.

 

I think they stopped hard drugs after Jeremy ward died which would have been after recording deloused I believe

I saw Jon Theodore post some old pictures of the mars Volta the other day. I wish he’d come back and they put something out but that’s not happening

 

It does not matter I was just curious because I know people view Oct and Noct more subdued/less reaching albums so I was wondering if it was around that time they stopped their heavy drug use.
