The season still sucks dog shit but this was at least a fun episode. Ending was wild. Baby yoda in a droid is so so dumb. Alright off to listen to papa roach!

This was a fun episode and probably the best one of this mostly forgettable season. It sucks that this season is only seems to be buildup for the Ahsoka stuff.

The Thrawn reveal at the end will be ok of neat though.

 

In fairness, Mandalorians do that shit all the time because fearless warrior = dumb dumb for some reason.

 

Bluey did the yes/no thing better.

Also, now Grogu is dead center for a blaster target

 

I agree more and more each week with the take that Mandalorians are too dumb to live.

Coming in here solely to ask you all not to bring Papa Roach into your weird Star War drama.

 

So did anyone else get the impression that all of the Darktroopers are clones of Gideon? He said he put himself inside each one of them and that Mandalore would live on through him. I feel crazy because I haven't seen that anywhere else really.

Also, wild prediction: Thrawn will kill Moff Gideon next week. What better way to let the people who haven't seen the cartoons or read the books know that Thrawn is for real?

 

Gideon definitely seems like he’s not aligned with the rest of the imperials. So I can see Thrawn taking him out. Or maybe not backing him up and letting the Mandos kill him.

I don't really know what he's getting at, to be honest. Your explanation would make a lot of sense, but his rant about combining cloning, Mandalorians, Jedi, etc. makes me think he's attempting to create some sort of super army for himself.

His comment about being inside the beskar sounded more literal to me, like "this armor actually has someone worthy wearing it now: me".
