Thought the episode was okay. The pirates are way too corny. Interesting to see what happens with Bo.

This pops up when I start the new episode. Never seen this before.

I remember that error from my cable repair days.

I don't know if this solution is applicable to your setup, but if it is, try disconnecting whatever input cable you're using and plug it back in and see if the issue goes away.

    I really enjoyed that episode

  8. This season is all over the place. The stuff with just the mandalorians is cool and I like it but everything else is lame and dumb. The action sequences were boring and the acting of the new republic guy and even tim meadows was questionable. Everything just feels so disjointed.

I really wanted this season to focus on Mandalore. Which is Din’s story, but it keeps getting pushed to the side. I also wanted Grogu gone until the end of the season so we could focus on Mandalore. But, that was not possible after BOBF.

I’m not one to complain about cgi unless it’s super egregiously bad but I gotta say a lot of shots look great in this. I thought the scene with the shuttle looked awesome. And some of the dogfighting looks worlds better than it did before. Overall I’m enjoying the season but I do feel like they’re having that Marvel problem of running out of time to payoff the storylines being set up. I’m loving Bo-Katan, I never really watched the animated shows. But they really haven’t given Din or Grogu much to do. I want to know more about the Armorer.

If this season feels disjointed, it's either completely on purpose, or the rumors of them having to rewrite everything because of Kathleen Kennedy forcing a reunion between Din and Grogu in TBOBF are true.

I thought the pirates were stupid, like why do the pirates in star wars have to resemble the pirates we think of, even down to the ship haven't the equivalent of a steering wheel. Just felt corny.

Agreed that it's been all the over the place, and the guest appearances (Tim Meadows, Bill Burrow, Amy Sedaris) stick out like a sore thumb to me. Amy I guess is okay, and fits the part, but it was hard to take Tim seriously in this role and with the dialogue they gave him.

However - it's still a relatively fun weekly watch, and as far as special effects go, it's a good bit better than the other star wars and marvel shows on Disney. It seems though the numbers are down, and the overall reaction lukewarm, so it may be fizzling out unless anything drastic happens later this season to hype people up again.

I hate Amy’s character. And I can never take Tim Meadows seriously, his voice just makes me laugh.

Tim Meadows was distracting but I will never be upset with him showing up in anything

Seems kind of strange that Moff Gideon never showed up to trial and nobody cares

I’m guessing it’s less that nobody cares and more that the New Republic doesn’t want it known they let him escape.

Whenever I see Tim Meadows I can only think of “and never once did you pay for drugs”

Amy's character doesn't bother me, but I'm kinda indifferent about her. Tim Meadows is hard to take seriously in any part he's in, and he took me out of the scene. Bill Burr's character was great.

The Moff Gideon situation is definitely a cover-up. They're establishing a new government and trying to get buy-in across the galaxy. They can't let a mistake like that get out. I do wish they had shown more of the Gideon storyline up to this point, though in place of some of the other story arcs we've had so far.

It was nice to see some payoff of the child rescue with Paz Vizla sighting it as a reason to support Din's character and mission. Also, I wonder if they bring the baby dinos over to Navarro.

Also don't mind Amy's character though sometimes her attitude doesn't match what's going on in the show. She never seems very concerned about whatever is happening around her so it feels like a big shift in tone every time they go back to her.

One theory that I've seen, and started to buy into, is that a sect or two of Mandos are loyal to Moff Gideon since he had the Darksaber. They just stuck with him after he lost it.

That was honestly my first thought at the end of that last episode. I hadn’t considered that the Mandos were potentially framed. Going to be interesting either way.

I think if that’s the case, they’re bound to run into these guys sooner than later since Bo is going to try finding them in order to reunite everyone.

  23. Fun ep. The dogfighting/air action was cool. All the action on the ground felt cookie cutter.

With the ending, I assumed there was a group of Mandos loyal to Moff Gideon as well.

Solid episode. I thought the Naboo fighter was dumb fan service when they first rolled it out in BOBF (the size seemed like a massive downgrade compared to the Razorcrest), but the dog fights have been awesome this season so I've come around to it. The pirates were pretty corny, so I'm glad they're mostly dead now. I'm guessing the one that escaped is working with Gideon.

Love Tim Meadows, but that scene was kind of rough. Just a beat-for-beat rip-off of every "cop who doesn't play by the rules" interaction. The design of the ranger station felt so unimaginative too.

Still, overall fun, which is what I'm coming for with this show.

I'm assuming it's because most other Mando's out there don't abide by the cult rules. She's more likely to unite them if she doesn't have to wear it. It does seem like she risks alienating this group though.
