It’ll be on Pillar soon. It may take awhile since it crashed.

How’d the show go? Did they announce anything of note?

They teased another livestream but didn’t give a date. As far as new music goes, nothing was mentioned. They’ve said in other things on Pillar it’ll be 2021 before we get anything from the new album.

The concert is up on Pillar now for anyone who missed it.

Also, 8123 Fest has been moved to January 2022.

Makes sense. No chance things will have changed by Jan 2021. Given the recent developments though I can see 2022 being a thing for live acts again.

I dig the John the Ghost record. Early favourites for me: Patterns, here/gone, and So So

Yeah, I feel like most The Maine fans would find a lot to like on the John The Ghost album.

John mentioned on Pillar, he wrote all the songs on the JTG album with the intention of them being on The Maine’s next album. It’s really worth a listen.

Oh, I meant it in a totally positive, silver lining type of way and not in the typical pretentious/patronizing AP way. Whoops lol

Looking back at the comment - it does sound dickish. Shit. This place is poison!

Yeah, I apologize if that's how my comment sounded too. Just was thinking a lot of people who like this band would like John's solo album.

So shit like so, so and 8 are so my mfing jam. I like the atmospheric stuff more than the straight forward pop stuff, but it’s all incredibly easy to listen to. Just want 8 to go on forever.

I'm curious because I know they said the next album was going to lean into the pop side of their sound more, but if these songs were supposed to be for the next Maine album originally, then were they talking about these when they said that? It'll be interesting to see, but I'm sure it'll be great whatever they do.

    If you don't, don't

SO SO is such a bop. It's like The Maine meets U2 and I'm into it.
