    Too bad it's the wrong Durin.

    I think they're just trying to cram too much in too quickly. They sort of already committed to 5 seasons, so I'd have liked to see them consolidate things so we'd get a couple of them each season, allowing things to breath. The path they've chosen instead feels rushed, and the big moments don't feel as earned as they could. The finale felt like it was just trying to get to a bunch of obligatory plot developments, and some things happened offscreen.

    That said, I'm glad people are finding things about it to enjoy. I don't love it, but because I do love Tolkien I'll keep watching.

    Really enjoyed S2. Last two eps were great. Gonna suck if we have to wait another 2 years for the next season.
