Also I played Old Sea Bridgade yesterday it was alright but sadly pretty forgettable.

You sure this isn't quantity over quality? Lots of stuff I've tried so far this year and it has done nothing for me sadly.

Nah, this is probably about half the stuff I've listened to so far this year and that I keep going back to or really liked on first listen (Astronoid, Cherry Glazerr).

Have you listened to AM Taxi, The End of the Ocean, Fidlar, Ithaca, or Seagulls? I think you'd like all of those.

 

I am, but I've already gotten behind on listing things.

Out of those I've only listened to Seagulls fully actually. A little of End of the ocean too. What is Ithaca like? I saw that one being mentioned today in the new release stuff. I might give it a shot. I've been to Ithaca before and loved it so the band name is promising at least.

 

Fidlar judging by some of my friends on rym none of them liked it so I'm less than tempted to give it a shot tbh

Seagulls is far and away my favorite release of the year and The End of the Ocean is really good too.

Ithaca is metallic hardcore from the UK; RIYL Botch, The Chariot, Norma Jean:

 

Whenever I think of Fidlar I think of these corny burn outs I met at a house show that all had the band name stick n poked on them

I know. already tried that.

on the brightside my kids should be able to go to her school starting in the fall which will mean no more paying $1500 to private daycare/prek so some of that will be used for loan payments.
