Be prepared: Chiwetel Ejiofor might play Scar in the Lion King reboot

 

I actually love that casting. Ejiofor is a great singer and I think he can pull off Scar really well.

 

I know I said I needed Irons to return.......but Ejiofor could still be awesome. I still want Day as one of the Hyena

Also, in case anyone is interested, AMC theaters are showing the original Lion King for a limited time, as well as some other Disney movies.

I have full faith after Favreau’s work with the Jungle Book and this cast

 

Still salty that Nathan Lane isn’t Timone....but damn what a cast.

Key as one of the hyenas is perfect

 

People either love or hate Eichner it seems. I love Craig. I think him and Rogan are a great pairing.

Eric Andre as a hyena is pefect casting, but Hannibal Burress should be in this too.

 

Honestly It’s a little weird that Andre and Key are in this without either of their usual collaborators, Burgess and Peele.

 

Love everything about that cast

 

Hans Zimmer is apparently scoring

 

I'm not sure yet how I feel about a "live action" film with 0 non-CGI characters... But, I really liked Jungle Book and love everything revealed so far about this, so yeah, I guess I'm all in.
