I feel like this is a band that Sex Bob-Omb's are going to face.

I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but I don't actually buy any of this. I believe this is all an act created by Carlos De La Garza.

I don't know why you would get hate - that's probably accurate. Hard not to great drawn in by them though. Pretty refreshing for the genre.

Yeah, even if it was the kids’ idea it’s not hard to draw a clear line to where they wheeler inspired and how they had the resources to give it a go. Not knocking it for that at all though.

Nothing wrong with them using their resources to get ahead - it would be stupid if they (or their fathers) didn’t.

It's just unusual considering Tramp Stamps, another manufactured "punk band", was just put on blast a month ago. Granted, their lyrics were problematic and the music was awful but it seemed that the main issue people had was them adopting the riot grrrl aesthetic, which seems to be exactly what this band is doing as well (But they are doing it better)

Completely agree - they do seem to be getting a pass. Now, I’m not someone who really cares how people gain traction in their careers, but I can say that there are several people who simply just like playing kingmaker on Twitter/tiktok (and this website lol). Just like high school - if the perceived “right people” are breaking the rules, nobody cares. In this case, for whatever reasons, this band resonates well enough with people for them to not care.
