Finally got my Master Sword last night. The forest/woods area is beautiful.

 

I know this has been asked before, but what's the recommended order to complete the main quest/divine beasts? I already did Zora's domain.

 

I did Zora>Rito>Goron>Gerudo

 

Zora, Rito, Goron, Gerudo seems to be what I've come across the most. Also recommend 25 shrines per divine beast attempt.

 

That's what I did and it feels natural to me. I would probably do Rito first though if I had to do it again, because the perk you get is better.

 

I've done Gerudo>Zora>Rito>Goron because I'm a weirdo.

 

That seems a bit crazy to me. I did my second beast with about 30 shrines and now I'm at about 45 ready to tackle the third. I mean if you can do it, more power to you, but that seems kinda hard to me haha.

 

I did all four with 40 shrines. So I'd say 10 per would suffice as well.

 

I've been doing 25 per beast as well, and I'll get the remaining ones before Ganon. I'm at 98 shrines currently so I'm close to doing my last beast!

 

I just went around anticlockwise hitting every shrine I found and doing the beasts when I reached them.

 

Put a bit of a chunk into the game the past couple of days. Probably about 40 hours in. 40 shrines and 2 divine beasts (Zora, Gordon) done so far.

I can't believe how hard the enemies get now. And I get destroyed by Guardians. Super tough but still enjoying it a lot.

 

Haha I don't think its necessary i think its more so a good plan if you dont wanna rush the game

 

I love the joy of riding down a new road by horse and finding a new stable plus shrine. I've only done one Divine Beast, but I'm only two areas away from completing the map.

I'm a little disappointed so far in the boss battles. Too easy, not that creative. In Skyward Sword, you had to use your whip to take off the arms of that huge thing. It was so cool. Nothing like that yet. All the bosses were cool in that game actually.

 

I think they made a compromise there in order not to move away from the core mechanics of this game

 

I liked that the boss battles in this game weren't like old Zelda bosses in the way of using an item to reveal the weak spot and then hitting that. I just wish they were more varied and that there was more of them.

 

I'm so terrible at this game. I can't even beat the 1st Lynel in Zoras Domain. I think I'm just terrible at games in general

 

You can do that bit without beating him which is how most people do it.

Holy shit. Got a Twilight Bow from my Zelda amiibo today. Haven't used it on anything yet but it only shoots light arrows.

 

Dumb question, but what is amiibo exactly and should I use it?

 

I'm terrified of it. I'm halfway through the main quest, when I see one I just run away. Collect arrows by walking around and staying out of his sight.

 

They're collectable figures that give different bonuses in various Nintendo games. In Breath of the Wild you use the amiibo tablet power and depending on the one you use, different item drops come. It's not necessary at all but sometimes the bonus is nice.
