So Kevin says he met the bride and groom at the hotel bar. Thought that could be a sign it all takes place in the afterlife. Also you see Laurie (who could be dead) but you don't see any of the kids, Kevin's dad (who's mentioned as alive) etc... just a theory as I like to believe Nora story was true and it's in the normal world... if that's a thing in this universe.

 

I see the Hotel Bar and the Kevin Scar more as winks from Lindelof

 

Does anyone here have a solid theory as to what Kevin's afterworld really was?

I've been thinking that maybe when we die we all go to our own personal afterlife where we get to find closure on unresolved issues in our lives. But then again that wouldn't really explain how Kevin was able to come back to life.

 

It's alarming how much I relate to one journalist's writing. Wooow.

 

So was Kevin God?

 

It's been taking me longer to get through this than I expected, but I finished up season 1 today. Looking forward to where season 2 goes from there.

 

After a few episodes of Season 2 you won't be able to stop watching. Ran through that season in 2 days

 

This is what I like to hear about a show!

 

Sunday came and went and I felt a little empty inside.

 

Wow, so HBO just put up the finale on youtube for free. Apparently it'll be available for one week.

 

Weird choice....but also cool

 

They're definitely trying to get Emmy voters to wake up on this show before ballots are cast.

 

But I can't imagine being too impressed with the finale if you haven't seen the series, it's a very subtle and emotional finale that really only works if you're invested in the characters.

That being said, I really hope Justin, Carrie, and the show get some recognition

 

I can't imagine watching the finale without ever previously watching any other episodes

 

Not strictly Leftovers related but probably of some interest to you guys: Lindelof's next project might be an HBO Watchmen show.

I think a watchmen movie is enough for me

 

the movie was pretty dumb, but I trust Linedloff running the show

 

Lindelof would make it good, I'm sure, but I also have no real interest in a Watchmen show.

 

Same. On paper a Watchmen tv show doesn't sound too appealing, but I trust Damon. I've loved everything he's touched so far.

 

I think Watchmen is much better suited for a TV series than a movie, so I'm interested in that.

 

I think that world could be really interesting to explore in a tv show as long as it doesn't stick to the exact plot of the graphic novel too closely.

I dig the movie as well. I'm all in on a TV series. Lindelof is icing on the cake.
