My b-sides story started much later in life. I listen to a lot of music in the car, and we had moved from one great college radio town to another. When we lived in Chapel Hill, the only music I listened to besides WXYC was Logan Whitehurst and the Junior Science Club (ad nauseam).

Soon after moving to Nashville, my wife gave me a download card for REI's Go Playlist of winter songs (with some notable b-sides):

I was hooked. Other symptoms began to manifest themselves: a hate for iTunes, region-specific music, etc. My obsession with collecting physical media developed soon after WRVU had its license sold (to a classical station, no less).

So silly we had to go through a team effort to buy some digital files tho - it shouldn't be this hard. But as Blister said above, the hunt's part of the appeal!

Actually found the release on Vinyl Records, SACDs, DVD Audio, Audiophile Equipment|Acoustic Sounds as well, which I could have bought - but was nice to get HDtrack's 15% discount on the title. Makes owning a 4th copy of the release a bit more palatable..

 

I just realized I was missing Bon Jovi - We Weren't Born to Follow (Jason Nevins Remix). It was a UK only bonus track on The Circle album, but I don't see it on iTunes or Amazon anymore. Thanks.

OK - so I found an mp3 on my HD of EODM covering the Distiller's "The Hunger".

Love to upgrade it to lossless - but I can't seem to find *too* much info on the track - anyone that can shed some light be most appreciated & of course if you have in lossless, do kindly share - thx! :)
