No but there have been enough comments from Neil and other make it seem like it’s going to happen at some point. But also ND has said they aren’t going to announce games until they are close to release.

 

I told you everything I know, sadly. Everything is in dev hell. :(

at this point not making / working on part 3 would be leaving money on the table.

 

Alright.. I did this (for myself) for season 1/game 1 to kind of get an idea of what each episode might consist of, and I ended up getting it pretty close, so I figured I'd try and do the same for season 2/3 and Part II. It feels like a little more of a challenge seeing as the layout of the game may not be how they lay out the show. To make it easier on myself, I'm just going to predict as if they're using the same structure with 10 episodes for each season. I'm iffy on how Season 3 would be structured in this made up scenario.

Season 2
Ep 1 - Immediate follow up to season 1, Joel telling Tommy about his decision, Joel giving Ellie her guitar
Ep 2 - Dina and Ellie leave for patrol, Owen shows Abby that he spotted Jackson
Ep 3 - Ellie and Dina on patrol, Abby/Joel/Tommy run from the horde, Joel and Tommy meet the WLF crew, golfing
Ep 4 - Ellie deals with the aftermath of Abby, decides to leave for Seattle
Ep 6 - first half of Seattle Day 1, first flashback (Ellie's birthday)
Ep 7 - second half of Seattle Day 1, Jesse shows up
Ep 8 - second flashback (patrol with Tommy and Joel), Seattle Day 2
Ep 9 - Day 2 trauma, third flashback (confronting Joel in SLC)
Ep 10 - Seattle Day 3, aquarium and Abby cliffhanger

Season 3
Ep 1 - Abby first flashback (zoo), Meeting the WLF
Ep 2 - Meeting Isaac, second flashback (ferris wheel and aquarium)
Ep 3 - Caught by Scars, third flashback (Owen living in aquarium), saved by Lev and Yara
Ep 4 - Boat sex, Day 2 (helping Yara)
Ep 5 - Day 2 (journey to hospital, rat king)
Ep 6 - Day 3 (confrontation with Tommy, leaving for island)
Ep 7 - Day 3 (Scar-Wolf war, Ellie vs Abby 1)
Ep 8 - Ellie and Dina on the farm, flashback (Ellie and Dina dance)
Ep 9 - Santa Barbara, ends with Ellie caught in trap

Sounds reasonable. I do worry they’ll cut some Joel stuff since Pedro is now incredibly fucking busy

I can't really see them doing an Ellie-centric season and then an Abby-centric season, I'm guessing they're gonna mix the two narratives together. Honestly might be the better way to do it for a show format

 

Kaitlyn Dever definitely has the chops to carry a season though

 

Yeah that’s my thing too. I think it’s going to be intermixed for both seasons and Joel will die midway or toward the end of the first. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them change the timeline a bit of when he dies either.

 

I really wanna play the remaster, but I'm debating whether I should wait until closer to S2 of the show to do so. Only played the game once (all in one weekend when it dropped while quarantining). I rarely play games more than once, but TLoU was an exception and Part II will be another.

 

TLoU Part II was the only game of its kind I played through twice in a row. I took like 3 days to process the first run, then did it all over again.

 

Very excited to re-play the remaster. Glad it's only 10 bucks for the upgrade though. Doubt I'd have done full price

 

So if i downloaded it originally on my ps4 I just go to PSN and upgrade it on my 5?

 

Yeah, but I just checked and the upgrade isn’t available for us yet. Sounds like it’ll be available for us on Friday.

Downloaded it this morning, won't get to it until tonight or tomorrow. I was listening to the PSILY episode on it and No Return sounds like a ton of fun.

 

haven't picked this up since i finished my first playthrough vs playing part 1 like 4 times. this one hurt me lol

 

yeah I haven’t touched it since it came out, this is gonna be rough lmao

 

I'm not planning on playing through the story right away because I just started FF7R but I wouldn't be surprised if I end up changing mind lol.

 

Also haven’t played since launch and I’m exc for it in 60fps babbby

 

I’m glad they changed it. Even if there wasn’t going to be a third game. Ellie killing Abby leaves no room for her to have a chance to change her path and doesn’t not fit with their theme of trying to break the cycle of violence.

 

Thoughts on the possible role? Was thinking maybe the Seraphite prophet that we never actually saw in the game or maybe someone in the WLF camp
