    No Fun. Not Ever.

A small part of me hopes they pull a "I'm the Juggarnaut bitch" and do the "That's the cutest fucking thing I've ever seen in my life" rabbit scene.

I honestly am expecting next episode to open with that exact rabbit scene.

already addressed this in another post, and I don’t mean to get too hung up on it, but Jackson was already pretty far along in Part 1. we just don’t get to see it firsthand.

Fair enough. I always thought it was pre power and they were trying to get the dam working but you're right that it was being fixed and there's mention of the settlement that it powers. Semantics aside, it was still a wow moment to see it for the first time in 2 vs 1 but it's a minor quibble that doesn't really matter in the end. Just a preference thing

yeah, I get your point for sure. I had basically remembered Jackson similarly before my replay, actually. I guess for me it makes sense for the show to approach it how it did given the medium, but it was quite a special moment for Part II following Tommy into Jackson as Joel in the intro and seeing Jackson proper for the first time and it being such a thing to behold. at the same time that intro is also kind of an indicator the town was further along in Part I than we got to really see firsthand, given that seems to take place just after Joel and Ellie arrive back to Jackson. again, not a big thing so I don’t mean to be pedantic about it or anything and I do definitely get preferring how the game withheld showing the scope of Jackson until Part II.

Not to scare off non game players more, but here are my educated (game spoiler) predictions for the layout of the next few episodes…
Ep 7: Left Behind DLC intercut with Ellie off on her own. I think this episode will end with the reveal of Joel being alive but in rough shape.
Ep 8: We’ll be introduced to David fairly quickly in this one, with Ellie being captured by at least 20 minutes in. Then the remainder will be Ellie and David intercut with Joel on his way to find her. Ending will be almost shot for shot with the end of Winter in the game.
Ep 9: Based on how few Spring cutscenes there are, I see why this is the shortest episode. Start with distant Ellie/giraffes, probably change the event in the flooded tunnels, cut a fair bit of the violence in the hospital, but keep enough to show how violent Joel can be. The last ten minutes are sure to be pretty much exactly the same as the game.

All in all, I think the last couple episodes will up the violence to show just how far Joel is willing to go for Ellie. We haven’t see a ton of that so far.

I’m most unsure about where they’ll end 7 in the present day.
