They've been posting photos of this (or some other) shell since well before The Man if I recall correctly. Probably album art. Not as bad as BB, but that's not hard to do.

 

I'm in favor of this as an album cover too.

Lightyears ahead of Battleborn so that's a definite plus.

Preorders are up. Whats the difference between deluxe vinyl & standard vinyl? Is it quality of the vinyl & record covers or just the amount of vinyls you get? Haha.

Also, someone please explain the tweets above to me. Are these guys talking trash or what?

 

Deluxe has two LPs, with the three bonus tracks (I'm assuming). Standard is a single disc.

As for the tweets, I think Brian is being genuine. Gaslight has opened for the Killers before, even though I know Benny isn't a fan of them. But I know fans have asked Brian after his gigs what he thinks of the Killers, and he's said he likes them.

The Ryan Adams stuff on the other hand, I think I read he's not a fan of the Killers. I remember he went after them once before, and Brandon just kind of brushed it off. He's taking the piss out of the Strokes here, who (paraphrasing) lamented in that new book Meet Me in the Bathroom that they never had a hit as big as Mr. Brightside, despite feeling their songs were much better. So Ryan is playing to that.

 

I guess their website is the only place to purchase the deluxe vinyl currently?

The Killers on Kimmel Last nite

 

I'm pretty sure Brian Fallon is being genuine as he has gone on record many times in the past as being a fan of The Killers. Plus, he's usually pretty sincere when he's talking about being a fan of other musicians and artists.

As for Ryan Adams, who knows? He is definitely ripping into The Strokes there, but I can't quite figure out if it's a dig at The Killers or not... Honestly, I believe he is clean and sober these days but that tweet reads like an angry drunken rant. The guy is definitely intense.

Run For Cover sounds great. Really disappointed by The Man as leadoff single......REALLY disappointed.
