I cannot wait for these guys to come back to NYC. Missed them the last time they came to town. One of the few acts I've always wanted to see but never have

 

They absolutely killed it at Gov Ball last year. It was raining the whole time we were waiting for them and everyone was soaked and the sky cleared the second they got on stage and they made everyone forget how uncomfortable they were

 

Ahhhhh I should've been there

 

Apparently there were around 65000 people that show in Hyde Park.

 

Saw them live in Athens (Ejekt Fest) 2 weeks ago.. maaaan...New song was sooo good live! Definitely one of my most anticipated albums of 2017

So Im trying to figure out who 'The Man' sounds like.... I want to say something like Gang of Four, or Erasure, or some type of Brit band from the 70s and 80s... Some say Bowie, some above said Talking Heads.... Im not there.

it's someone, that it reminds me of.... but its been a long while since Ive heard them, IYKWIM.

 

Reminds me of of Montreal a little.

 

Reminds me a lot of Cake, actually

 

Bass line in the 2nd verse and vocal layering reminds me of Queen.

 

Smalltown Boy - Bronski Beat

 

It reminds me a little bit of David Byrne and a lot of 80's Bowie, the latter a little reinforced by the "Fame" reference (different decade, I know).

Have you heard this?

 

I don't understand how the guy can look like so many different people

 

honestly the man just sounds like the killers to me haha, but above average killers

I'm glad that's not the final artwork. Also, I think I'm going to wait for it to show up on Amazon before I preorder.
