they're the sort of band i can see sticking to their morals far more than pander for popularity (just look at the bands that they brought out this time), so we'll see

 

Yeah I don't think they are worried about or care about the size and scope of their popularity whatsoever. Which I think is awesome, but of course I want swarms of people to hear and love this band because I think they deserve it.

 

yea but we know christian has a good relationship with Geoff (he thanked him on release day) so that's why I keep coming back to Thursday as a realistic option

 

I know they were to tour with Self Defense as opening act at some point (I think when Home was just released) but Self Defense declined... that would have been the sickest tour...

 

Kevin Devine would be an interesting touring partner for this band, hes big enough to expand them but not SUPER huge

 

they did a show together in april

 

This would probably be one of my all time favorite tours. Christian and Kevin are both such incredibly genuine human beings

I love Sun too, and it's the one song on the album that won't play for me in the Bandcamp app and I can't for the life of me figure out why. Seeing it live minus the repetition was weird for me, because that feels like a big part of the meaning of the song imo

 

Hell yes this is number one, half way through the year! I'd like to think our constant praising had something to do with it

Yep. Said before it came out that I feared it would get drowned out by other amazing music and that's what's happened. This just isn't what I want to listen to recently. I'll come back to it eventually it's still a really good album.

 

I haven't been listening to it often but I haven't been listening to anything else either. I haven't really listened to much music since May for some reason.

 

It's just not an album I can play every day. I like it a lot, but once every two weeks has been the pattern for me.
