I can't wait to own this album on vinyl. Having all 3 albums on vinyl will be amazing.

 

I wonder when we'll find out what was going on on that live stream of Goodness a few months back... I wanna know what they were filming for!

I mean, it's gotta be like a live session of Goodness professionally recorded right? That is what they were doing after all, playing the album.

 

I managed to snag that double pressing of Home and INGO. Great deal, the pressings sound wonderful. Plus I'm a sucker for colored vinyl lol

 

yea I believe so, I would prefer it to be a video rather than just a live recording though.. do you remember if it looked like they had some professional cameras set up? I was too floored by the music to think of anything else

I love that this thread has more posts than Brand New, but we have a LONG way to go if we ever want to catch blink 182 haha. On the 5/4 instrumental section of end of reel right now, I love when they break into that awesome half time feel at the end, and moves away from the toms

 

I think my favorite thing about the new Settle The Scar is the contrast of sound right after the glitchy drum hits. In that moment there is so much going on but when it cuts out, everything drops and it takes you to a completely different place

 

To reach the blink thread we'd have to end up like that one talking about tons of random bullshit so I'm ok with us being smaller.

 

I literally thought about that yesterday driving home from work.. Such a great use of tension and release

 

I still feel like there's so much more for me to grasp from these songs. I've gotten to the point where I can absolutely see this taking my AOTY spot from The 1975, ha.

I'm grateful any time any one gives their interpretation or ideas on lyrics though because they either give me insight into lyrics I'm having trouble making sense of or they help me further my own ideas.

 

I don't see how this won't be my AOTY which is nuts seeing so many amazing things have already been released and will be released later in the year

 

Became kind of uninterested in making EOTY lists for myself last year (in terms of ranking), but I still love reading all of them and seeing everyone else's. I used to love doing it, I don't know what changed. Maybe it's because last year I didn't have a clear-cut "for sure this is my favorite album released this year" release. Which isn't a bad thing.

But anyway, I cannot see myself connecting with any other release like I am with this one for a very long time. I'm pretty confident in that. AOTY it is.

 

This is making everything else seem weaker to me.

 

this is my AOTY could eventually be my number one of all time, which is currently held by HLNPIT.. Really happy this record exists

 

This is absolutely my numero uno. PUP second. Menzingers coming out may fuck up that order (hopefully)

 

The White Album still holding down numero uno. But...could change.

 

For some reason I can't quiet get what Two Deliverances and Settle the Scar are completely trying to say which is upsetting

 

Has it been mentioned that you in this light and the second interlude share the same type of guitar line? For some reason I just realized this
