i may get better but we won't ever get well Prestigious

One of my favorite horror movies, shame it was overshadowed by its remake and released in a bunch of different editions

Actually nah that was unique to the remake

I liked Goodnight Mommy quite a bit, especially after the ending. I looked up an AV Club spoiler piece that calls the twist "embarrassingly predictable" but I didn't really see it coming. I mean I suppose the clues are all there but I don't really attempt to guess at these things.

Also my daughter woke up and watched the last half of it with me and I'm regretting that. It didn't seem to bother her but still I hope she promptly forgets about it.

I finally watched The Blair Witch Project last night. I really enjoyed it, although I watched it on blu-ray so the picture was shown in 4:3 which means the sides of the screen had black bars. Does anyone know if the DVD is full screen? Might buy that as it's definitely a movie I can see myself watching a lot, and full screen would be cool

I expected there to bee, but believe it or not, there weren't.
I watched it for the first time (well, the first time since I was like nine) a week or two ago and it creeped me the hell out even with the lights on. I think it's incredible and the performances are just spot on.

I'm always down for movies that mostly take place in one location. Is that the case with this one?

Dead Ringers was the most tame Cronenberg film I've seen yet. Irons gave a great performance, but other than that idk. Not very horror either just thought I would post somewhere.

Lol no I posted my thoughts on NL in the entertainment thread I believe when I saw it a few months ago. Def the most "Cronenberg-y" of all his work. Such a bizzarre yet really interesting film. Would love to read the novel one day.

Kevin Smith's segment does not make me hopeful for Yoga Hosers

Bloodsucking Bastards is currently $7 on Vudu, I recommend it if you liked Deathgasm. Or Shaun of the Dead.
