Anton's performance was so much more tragic since his passing. do wish we had seen more of the skinheads kinda terrorist plans?

Along with Don't Breathe, Keep Watching and Bye Bye Man, I'm really excited to see The Wailing. South Korea puts out some great horror films

Omg the ppl in my theater for Don't Breathe were unreal. Super loud mouth breather middle school boy who laughed at dumb parts and two teenage girls talking behind us

Anyway pretty sure my face of disgust and horror at that one part was ridic. No gif can capture that

Just saw It Follows for the first time. Liked it alot.

In the latter half it had some trouble keeping up with it's own rules and logic that it set up in the first half, but the concept was so smart and original compared to alot of other recent horror films, and it was shot so well that I can forgive it.

I watched it for the first time earlier this year and really liked it (even the pool scene where I later read that a lot of people hated that scene). Last week I was at Best Buy with some money to burn and picked that up on Blu-Ray for $8 but haven't re-watched it yet

That's not what was going on. Darcy was running a heroin operation.

What did the line mean about "this is a movement" and why did Darcy say he wanted to move away from heroin dealing?

I am kinda waffling on whether or not I liked Don't Breathe. I didn't dislike it, but would I ever watch it again? Probs not. I'm still processing it but it was frustrating and unsatisfying and I get that's how some horror movies are, but idk. For some reason it seemed to bug me more in this one So I guess that's 2 hyped up horror moves recently that I don't care for. What is happening to the world!!??

  14. Been meaning to buy It Follows and Krampus for a while now, can't find them cheap enough anywhere though

gonna end up grabbing them soon enough because my roommate and friends and i always have a movie marathon halloween weekend

Holy shit, Don't Breathe. Great opening scene, ten minutes of terrible set up with lines like "slow your roll, bro" and I was kind of worried but then goddamn, the last hour and fifteen literally fucked my life up. The tension, the use of sound, I don't think I've ever cared so much whether someone was walking on a carpet. Truly great, I'm entirely satisfied.

Imma just wait until my cheesy run of the mill horror movies come out around Halloween. I'm feeling a bit disenchanted lately. I still need to watch Robert. Maybe I'll do that tonight

Ok I watched Robert and it confirms my theory that kids are only out to kill. Either they always do the killing or sit aside while someone else does it and they won't let on all that they know. Either way they are tiny murderous terrors

My don't breathe novel is coming shortly after I eat this pancake. Stand by

OK first I wanna talk about how bad of robbers they are minus alex. I know they're not pros but OMG! Laying in the bed to get her hair on it, peeing in it, DNA all over!! And omg he was blind not deaf they were so loud before they even got in the house!

I liked the movie a lot until the plot twist. I have way less patience for sexualized violence than I used to, especially when it's used as a plot twist. After I got over the disgust of his pubey semen I was just sighing and rolling my eyes everywhere because OF COURSE. It's cheap and unnecessary almost all of the time. Using that for shock value when imo the movie was already good without it was just pointless and gross.

Also Alex was the only likable one which was surprising since I wrote him off as a Nice Guy. Only one with even an ounce of intelligence and survival skill and he saves Rocky countless times and she let's him be remembered as a disgraced robber who took advantage of a disabled veteran. You deserved better alex!!!

Also did not one cop or anything see his creepy pillow dungeon?? Or notice that the other guy was shot then moved then stabbed with shears and go hmm that's weird!

thought it was handled really well tbh, my girlfriend and I weren't uncomfortable and that's generally the one thing we can't tolerate. I mean, artificial insemination is gross but it led to him getting a baster of his own cum rammed into his mouth which might be the most rewarding scene I've seen in some time haha

I agree that they were not good or believable as robbers though but eh, I guess that's while they are all dead af

I've seen mixed opinions from women on it. Of course some won't care and that's fine but I'm just over it. It's predictable and unnecessary and I wish more movies, horror especially, could just stop and find a new gross out shock factor. I think the twist gave it a new disturbing factor for many ppl, but for me it just made it more typical

the biggest offense this movie made for me was a cop responding to the scene 2 minutes after the alarm went off....in Detroit
