I'm stupid and I read that as you not wanting to give money to Scream instead of saying you didn't want to buying knowing you're money WOULDN'T be going to Scream. Sorry lack of sleep does me no favors.

The analog horror stuff also compelled me to revisit Adult Swim's "Unedited Footage of a Bear", so I will plug that at this time.

this was my fave thing they did. Smart Pipe was great too, albeit a different kind of horror lol

 

I think that Unedited Bear was the only one of that run I ever actually saw and it absolutely floored me (I also watched it for the first time when I was pretty drunk). I'll check out Smart Pipe and maybe some of the others too.

 

Never Hike in the Snow was really cool. Was a little annoyed at how short it was and how much they set up until my friend explained its the first of 3 parts.

 

The Freeform channel is airing Scream right now in the middle of the day so I was wondering how they would handle the gore, especially the opening scene. Surprised to see how much they left in, especially keeping the shot of the boyfriend’s sliced open stomach exposed. But they made sure to bleep out the swear words

 

Mohawk popped up on Shudder so I checked it out. Didn't realize it was by the same guy who did We Are Still Here and Satanic Panic, both of which I love. Anyway it's a decent period piece but overall it felt...superficial. Like 2 white dudes wrote it.

Hmm with the mention of Chopping Mall I think today will be a Barbara Crampton day

 

Watching Hatchet 2. Mostly looking forward to 3 and 4 since I think they are the most fun.

From what he said it'll probably be another 2 years before they're all out, I do wish it was just one movie, but I say watch it. It's cool and ties into one of the best F13 sequels.

 

Granted I haven’t watched it yet, but I think they put in sincere effort and I remember hearing from ones that did work with them.
