Watched Halloween 3 this morning for Wednesday’s podcast. As weird as that film is, there’s something about it I just fuckin love haha

 

Finishing season 4 of TFTC tonight. Tomorrow morning I’m recording then diving into Pet Sematary Two because fuck you, that film seriously rules! lol

 

Ordered Halloween and The Cabin In The Woods on 4K Blu-ray. One of my bandmates hasn’t seen EITHER so it finally forced me to own these bad boys.

 

I rewatched cabin in the woods recently and didn’t enjoy it as much as the first time I saw it. Still fun though.

 

I actually bought CITW the other day at Target, $5 for the Blu Ray

It’s a genuinely great movie

 

SF’s version of The Thing is genuinely perfect imo. Also, everybody should have a copy of They Live.

 

i watched the Berksaut Forest and thought it was pretty creepy (although there was 1 mistake that took me out, when the camera showed 12pm instead of 12am). i also watched some others including the last one you posted and enjoyed those too.

i think the later in the evening you watch it the scarier it gets, because then you get more into it. kinda took me back to before internet, staying up late enough to watch the tv stations end broadcast and all the creepiness that came with that

I def have to recommend the video that got me interested in it.

 

The Thing & Return of the Living Dead are two releases from SF that are jam-packed with features between two discs. Probably the two biggest single releases I’ve seen the company put out (ROTLD even has the freakin workprint tucked away on the second disc)

As for They Live...I current have that & Prince of Darkness preordered in 4k UHD

 

I bought Halloween in 4k late last week and was very impressed with the quality when watching over the weekend. Enjoy!!

Slightly annoyed because my Family Video order didn't go through last night. The browser froze like three times, then eventually wouldn't let me try to order again due to security and one of the titles in my cart sold out in the meantime. Grrr.

 

The one time I ordered from Family Video was earlier this summer when I grabbed the Lethal Weapon Deluxe Collection Blu for only $8. It took so long to ship I completely forgot about the order & was genuinely surprised when it finally arrived a couple months later (that wasn’t an exaggeration either)

 

*sniff* It’s beautiful...

 

Watching these F13 movies with the restored mono is a must

Very, very cool. Like zig said, some minor things took me out of the second one (mainly spelling mistakes and phrasing) but all in all, these are great. The first two gave me Silent Hill vibes. The contingency one was fucked haha. I will watch more of these for sure!
