I never knew about the extended scene from Part 2. Alot of nice new features. Stoked

 

But the movie didn't take place at the camp

 

Just finished the Twilight Zone Movie episode of Cursed Films. I knew John Landis was trash and an actor got killed by a helicopter but yeeesh. Never heard about the kids as well.

 

I remember hearing a planned documentary on the It miniseries that was supposed to come out last year. Anyone know if it was finished and where to watch? Google isn’t helping.

 

Side note: this guy is a good follow when it comes to 80s/90s horror nostalgia

 

A local toy store is having a horror sale this weekend and there’s a huge haul of classic Fangoria. Gonna have to get a few of them.

My partner is making me watch Repo

 

There hasn’t been an update since June but that one said that final cut was agreed upon and that a release date announcement would be “soon”. I really hope it finally comes out this year, I’m still dying to see it.

 

I used to go to paper shows with my dad and I would keep a lookout for old Fangoria and Starlog magazine issues

 

This was the only bit from the first season that I was completely unaware of, and holy shit it fucked me up. My brain obsessed over it for the entire night..it was strange.

 

I can’t visualize what this would look like, but I’m here for it.

 

I Torrented every issue of Fangoria through like 2017-18 (or whenever it ended, if it did). Great stuff

Looks maybe a little too Get Out, but I'm always interested in more queer horror stories!

 

As much as I don’t like Jeffrey, I’m so excited for it. Usually I have to look at other countries for queer horror

 

Genuinely I looked at the last couple posts and though “oh, that new Saw movie is queer!? That’s cool!”

 

I thought the same thing! I was like wait...Chris Rock and Sam Jackson star in queer Saw spinoff?

 

I’ve spent all day watching horror movies with my mom for my birthday. Midsommar, Hereditary (the irony of this one is not lost on me), The Strangers: Prey At Night, IT Chapter 2.

Only one I hadn’t seen was The Strangers and I liked it more then the original. Really inspired set pieces that made it that much scarier and unpredictable, but still simple in scope.

 

Okay so I'm watching Crawl and like girl. U get to ur phone and then instead of immediately going back to the safe zone to call 911 u just do it in access of the alligator crocodile thing (I dont know the difference ok)??? Dumb af nonsense!! GO BACK TO THE SAFE AREA THEN CALL

 

I really wanted to like this movie but there were some real bad idiot plot moments that erked me. Cool concept, mediocre execution. The CGI was terribly noticeable. Like is it really that expensive to make fake rain for movie sets now?

 

Can't say I loved it, but Vivarium sure was something. Quite unsettling at times.

 

Random Acts of Violence was not good. Although I do like seeing Jordana Brewster still getting work, feel like she's underrated.

Color Out Of Space was something else. Body horror always gets me. What was going on with Nic Cage's accent though?

 

Haha I loved his accent changing throughout. At times it reminded me of Vampires Kiss.

 

I couldn't tell if he was playing the dad as going over the top bc of the color, or whatever he was going for lol

 

I think he was, he definitely seemed to go over the rails more and more as it went on. Perfect movie for him, lol.
