I thought the same exact thing. Baruchel missed the mark on both that take AND his film.

THere's the right amount of camp good, there's too much camp bad, and then there's Jason Takes Manhattan camp, which ends up being so much camp that it goes beyond "too much camp bad" to the point where it becomes good again.

For the first time ever, you will get to see the infamous deleted gore footage from 1981’s FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2! (And yes, it includes THAT “Jeff and Sandra” scene.). The footage is from a vintage VHS tape (we say this so to manage picture quality expectations) but it’s all there! We couldn’t be more thrilled at this “holy grail” discovery and we thank those immensely who helped us track it down.

Is the "jeff and sandra" scene deleted from other copies or something? I feel like I see it even on TV plays of the movie. I guess maybe it's more sexual or extended or soemthing?

lol people be horny. But yeah I was scarred by these movies as a child (i had older, teenaged siblings that loved scaring me) and that kill always stood out to me as a casual watcher of the movies so it makes sense it's a fan favorite thing lol

It’s never been seen before but something that’s been sort of a myth/legend since the 80s. I’m pretty sure it all started with Fangoria magazine publishing pictures from the footage but no such footage ever being found...until now

Wait is there a DIFFERENT jeff and sandra scene or something? I assumed we were talking about the whole "stabbed through to the floor while having sex" kill which definitely is in the movie when I've seen it played lol

  18. Woof. I do have a LOT more than I thought I did in my bank account. I always struggle with these things. Like, rather than choosing one $150 movie collection between Universal Horror and this, I feel like I either have to pull the trigger on both or neither. So indecisive.

And then I think about how crazy that would be. And then I remember there are folks spending $300 on Lego sets. And then I average out the price to $7 per movie. Hmmmmmmm.

The scene you see in Part 2 is heavily trimmed, in fact all you see is Sandra’s face before Jason swings down and all you see after that is the impact on the floor. You never see it actually go through them nor do we see the aftermath of it. I just checked my Crystal Lake Memories book and the picture from Fangoria is in there, I’m looking right at it lol

Ahhhh okay. Yeah all the times I've seen it recently it's been on TV so presumably edited for TV....I was def young when I saw it for the first time so no way of knowing if I actually remember seeing more than that or not haha. When you're only like 8-9 years old all those people being murdered kind of blend together:crylaugh:
