Just finished it. Pretty good, and definitely worth the $6. Some of the body horror would’ve made Cronenberg blush.

  8. Hmmm...I could've sworn they added Goodnight Mommy to Shudder, but I can't seem to find it.

I liked Relic! Anything that give the girlfriend the spooks is good for me.

  14. Update: Goodnight Mommy now shows up on my Shudder list, but fails to load. Other films seem to be loading fine. I wonder if it's only available in certain countries? I tweeted at them. Strange.

Just watched Relic. I loved it so much. Definitely closest comparison I can make is The Babadook. Not quite as oppressive or scary, and I'm not sure it's as artfully done, but the highs might have been higher for me.

I'm helping care for my ailing mother and about to move across the country, so needless to say, this got me good. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever cried harder in a movie. The last five minutes...First time body horror has made me sob. The whole film was great, but the ending elevated it to another level for me.

Omg I remember laughing at that. Also, it's very difficult for me to hear Josh Lucas speak because he makes everything sound like a Home Depot ad.

    Latest viewings:

Jennifer’s Body and Fright Night (remake) were a blast.

The Beach House was okay but definitely made me squirm.

    Sea Fever was disappointing.

People hated on Jennifer's Body because people love to hate on Megan Fox and her entire life but it's actually really good
