Apostle was cool but yeah it was definitely a letdown compared to The Raid films.

 

I’m late to the game but I’d have to say
1. Hereditary
2. The Witch
3. It Follows
4. The Lighthouse
5. Midsommar

 

This is one of my favorite movies and has been since my first viewing.

 

Would an Alien Facehugger mask be effective to wear when I venture out to the grocery store?

The Platform was great, but probably a movie I will never watch again.

 

Wish they'd release a quiet place 2 on streaming

 

yea so viewers won’t be so self conscious chewing on loud food during the quiet scenes

 

I was really enjoying The Platform until the last 5 or so minutes, really hated how it wrapped up.

I like The Strain a lot, but can't help feeling like it is plodding. The seasons mean nothing because it wraps up zero plot points.

 

rewatched The VVitch last night for the first time since seeing it in theaters. I enjoyed the theater experience but it is so much better with subtitles on

i also had forgotten how early into the movie you first see the witch

 

Ordered/picked up a copy of the Scream Factory “Silver Bullet” Blu-ray from Best Buy on a total whim today and I just finished watching it. I have not seen the film since I was about 10ish and I remember not liking it very much...in the end I’m so happy I made this decision because the movie is amazing. Standup practical effects work and a really effective score, overall I think everything about the film works - including all the performances

 

underrated movie, love the small town feel.

 

Been going through Into the Dark the last few weeks. Have like 3 left to watch. Lots of hot messes but a few I really enjoyed too

Yep. Loved that one. Should be getting to the sequel sometime this weekend

 

I wouldn't even call it a sequel. There is no continuity other than the character existing. I think its a much better story and the cast fucking rules.

Watched A Perfect Getaway again last night. I recommend it if you haven’t seen it.

Finished season 3 of The Strain. Opting to call it quits. Read the synopsis and I'm cool with not watching it. I've never seen a show go in circles so much for so long.
