My girlfriend and I finally checked out Happy Death Day 2U. It was different than the first one but we both enjoyed it. At first I thought it was going to be the same movie as the first just with Ryan dying over and over, which I'm sure was intended, and was relieved when that wasn't the case.

 

That's generally how it works, haha jk.

I was reeeeeally hoping the second one would have been them just re-releasing the first movie again. Totally missed opportunity! That would have been hilarious.

I've never been so mad at being fooled by The Onion hahah. I didn't expect them to be of value or anything but I'd collect the hell out of them!

 

Watched One Cut of the Dead earlier and it was amazing! So impressive and hilarious.

 

been meaning to watch that.

Creepshow (TV) is weird and i love it. my favorite so far might be the dollhouse one, but The Man in the Suitcase had such a bonkers premise that i had to give it a shoutout

 

Gonna swing by my video rental store and pick up Crawl and 3 From Hell tonight

apple and google both have great horror sales going... ugggh, on payday nonetheless! already grabbed scream 1-4, for ten bucks, hell yeah. probably get the Happy Death Day bundle as well, sure to be a fun one to always have on the go. and maybe cabin in the woods... I need to log off haha

 

Picked up Crawl on Tuesday when it came out, rewatching now. If anyone is interested in the 3 month free trial of shudder it came with message me I'll send you the code since I already pay for shudder.

It's an actual store. It's hard to compete with Redbox on a price level, but I've been going there for over a decade and I'm pleased to report they were pretty busy tonight!

Just watched 3 From Hell.

Goddamn I love Rob Zombie films. 3 From Hell was an awesome mix of the first two movies mixed with 31. Its so funny how you find yourself cheering for the psychos in this trilogy.

I also hope that, one day, Rob Zombie releases a Firefly boxset of the movies and soundtracks on vinyl. Shit, I would drop money on bundles of his movies and pressings of the soundtracks.

 

Wish I had something like this near me.

 

Coincidentally, I also just watched 3 From Hell lol honestly enjoyed it more than I expected to, although it's pretty easily the weakest of the trilogy. The ending is really underwhelming, and at times, it was in desperate need of an editor. But it was quite a bit better than Zombie's last few films.

 

Unfriended: Dark Web is...kinda good??
