Just saw that that showed up on Netflix a few weeks after I bought it. I don't regret it though, it's a fun movie

I didn't know it was on Netflix. I got an email from Shudder saying they just got it, so I checked it out. I wouldn't regret buying that movie at all. I can see myself revisiting that one multiple times. You never know when it'll fall off these on demand sites.

That dildo fight with the aunt and uncle was one of the funniest sequences I've seen in a long time. I was dying laughing.

I thought the shallows was fun. Not as horrendous as Jaws 4, and Deep Blue Sea.

I had to stare at Logan Marshall Green for a long time. Like I knew it was him but it took me a while to see past his hair and beard. My sister spent the whole movie not realizing it was him lol. Also my unpopular opinion is that I didn't care for that movie.

LMG was super cute in that movie. Also I think the woman from Bella was in it which is weird

Society is like Cronenberg film made by John Waters, a winning combo.

  18. Rewatched Slither tonight and can confirm it's the perfect B-movie/horror-comedy.

Man, OG VHS is so much worse than the sequel.

2 is far superior to the original. Yeah, the first bit was a dud but the rest made up for it, Safe Haven is arguably one of the best pieces of horror made this decade.

I do like the first bit of OG VHS with the monster girl though, really great premise.

  23. i don't think the first bit of the sequel was a dud, and also i really love the last bit of the original. but again, i genuinely love both of those films for what they are

The first VHS is definitely the best. Safe Haven was good in VHS 2 but overall it wasn't as consistent or as creepy as the first movie.

i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

i love found footage films so i ate up all 3 VHS films. the final 'film' of the second had an effect on me no other movie has come close to. while watching it i literally forgot i was watching a film and not actual footage of something (at least until we see the demon thing). don't know if it was the music or just the balls out weird / creepiness, but i thought it fucking rocked. i was, in a lot of ways, in a trance during that 'film'.

Viral was disappointing but i still enjoyed it to some degree.
