My go-to podcasts are We Hate Movies, FrightClub and Shockwaves.

 

As someone who occasionally enjoys it depending on the topic, it definitely keeps that tone throughout.

 

This looks way more entertaining than I expected

 

I talk abt it all the time but Faculty of Horror is legitimately my favorite podcast and is two women discussing horror from a sociological and political/feminist perspective.

 

Mercy Black is a lukewarm 4/10.

 

Yeah that movie sucked.

 

FrightClub and Shockwaves rule. I haven't checked out We Hate Movies.

Horny 4 Horror is always good. LPOTL gets too abrasive for me but some of them are well-researched enough to enjoy

 

yeah I'm looking forward to doing the same, use In Voorhees We Trust to finally go through the series, I've only see the first one, Freddy vs Jason, and some of the 2009 remake I think it was

I listen to Bloody Good Horror every week. It's just a group of friends and it's a very easy-going vibe. I usually agree with their takes and it can get pretty funny

 

I really like Horny 4 Horror, Horror Queers, Halloweenies, and 2 Stephen King shows: Chat Sematary (Hi @Deanna !) and The Loser's Club.

 

oh!! another fun one - my friend Evan and their partner Liz do a podcast called Now Screaming where they go through every horror movie on Netflix.

'Under the Silver Lake' Being Dumped on VOD in the U.S. After Almost a Full Year of Delays

 

If you’ve seen it, you know why haha. It would not go over well with general audiences

Glad it’s finally being released, even if it’s not great I’d like to support the dude based of It Follows alone

 

Another shameless self-plug, my podcast (The Killer Podcast From Outer Space) has one season and a Christmas special out. The first two episodes are a little rough, but I'm proud of the rest, and the recording we've done for season two is even better! Usually analyzing/reviewing a film and its sequel, or something similar, over drinks.

 

Also, still excited to stream Under The Silver Lake.

 

For the record, I loved Under the Silver Lake but it's deeply strange and I'm definitely in the minority on that one

I think it was anticipated around here because it was David Robert Mitchell's follow-up to It Follows

 

We Hate Movies is an overall movie podcast where they make fun of supposed bad movies, but they do a whole month of horror called the "Spooktacular" in addition to random ones sprinkled in throughout the year. It's pretty entertaining, but not something I would recommend for "serious" discussion.

 

Love Bride of Chucky still, delightfully trash... so 90s.
