I’m going to have to watch it again soon. I absolutely love Melissa George so I figured I would like it, but it went even beyond the hype I’ve heard about it online. Everything was so well-written and neatly tied up while being incredibly layered and terrifying.

Started Channel Zero on Shudder last night on a whim while stoned. Pretty freaky pilot episode. Hope it keeps its element of weirdness and doesn’t venture into too much of traditional horror.

It keeps the tone consistently throughout. The other seasons are great as well.

  8. I just watched Pet Sematary for the first time but couldn’t stop laughing since I’d seen this episode of South Park out of context of know who Judd was.
    Down That Road

Also, as a parent it’s very tough to watch toward the end.

Reboots are tough when it’s not the original actor. Warwick Davis defined the role. Same with Robert England as Freddy. Jason Vorhees is interchangeable. Nice that they at least got Francis to return (yes, I’m referring to his Pee Wee’s Big Adventure character)

Why does the leprechaun sound like Tom Haverford??

Also I kind of hate myself but “GOING GREEN HURTS” got me. The OG series was always an incredible mix of total silliness and way more disturbing gore than you’d expect, so at least they’ve kept the tone. But no Warwick, no movie.

i'm excited for it tbh, it's the director that did The Void so I am expecting some solid effects at the very least

Watching The Orphanage for first time, only about 30 min in, but really enjoying it. Just came here to say that I can definitely the see the influence J.A. Bayona had directing/working on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

I finally watched Verónica last night. I liked it a lot, but it definitely didn't live up to all the articles saying it was the scariest movie since _____

I introduced some of my friends and my girlfriend to the original Suspiria last night. They enjoyed it, though they all mentioned that they expected it to be more scary. They liked it though, which I'm happy about. They did seem to have a lot of fun with it because their reactions were pretty visceral during the killing scenes. I was grinning through every beautiful gruesome moment, from the apartment building murder to Daniel's dog pulling meat from his neck-wound. I honestly could barely handle my excitement when my friend asked, "Wait--is that barbed wire?"

Because I’m a douche, I wore the Tiger shirt from Mandy to an As I Lay Dying concert two nights ago, telling my buddies I’m going full nic cage in the pit tonight. I made them watch the movie a while back, they were on board.

I’ve seen them a half dozen times now haha. Guilty pleasure. Metal core shows are just too much fun.
