It’s up there for me too. I have both the tiger and 44 tees in regular rotation right now haha. Nothing like it.

We've got Hereditary, Mandy, Revenge, The Ritual, Apostle, Ghost Stories. Suspiria will be great but it's not playing here yet. Halloween and A Quiet Place were both very successful at the box office. Strangers: Prey at Night and Summer of 84 were both fun, and I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of smaller films I've forgotten about.

    Pretty bad year, yep.

The one thing I got out of that article is that Suspiria is directed by the Call Me By Your Name guy. That's pretty neat

I listened to a podcast that soured me on Summer of 84 a bit, or rather it affirmed some of the negative things I felt about it, but it was still a fun watch once it got going

Guillermo del Toro tweeted that Bleak House is part of the evacuation area and the collection may be lost in the fire. Such a loss for horror history if it goes.

Sorry, but what's Bleak House? Quick search just shows a Dickens novel

It’s his super crazy house of horrors where he keeps a ton of his art and memorabilia. He has a bunch of really incredible pieces. There are some walkthrough videos showing off how cool it is too.

If you get the chance to see Overlord then take it because I absolutely loved it and it easily matches my current two favourite horror films of the year (A Quiet Place and Hereditary) though the more I think about it the more I am leaning to it beating both.

i haven’t watched it yet (not available locally) but I feel like it can end up as my MOTY as well. Huge Bo fan.

I’ve heard good things. Can’t wait.

I cannot figure out why it would be similar to Hereditary haha.

No not similar but they are both in the horror genre and I loved both, just trying to decide which I liked most.

Yeah, that article is pretty much worthless just based on that part. The rest of it is terrible too.

His was the only one you can find fault with, and even that wasn’t so bad and not the focus. The kids were all incredible and Timothy Hutton is one of the best ever. And Carla was born for horror. Honestly it was all so good.

Because it's a transparent as hell clickbait contrarian article designed to generate buzz, not legitimate discussion.
It barely even deserves a lazy eye roll.

Instead, it's gotten the traffic they wanted from so many prominent people that it's almost embarrassing.
