Prey At Night was slightly better than my expectations, but fell far short of the original.

 

The Crescent is gonna be on Prime, iTunes, and VOD starting September 4th
it's an artsy slow burn, especially scary if you have kids

I’ve been reading about that. I’m curious. The originals scared me when I was a kid. Was it a fun watch at least?

Watched Dude Bro Party Massacre 3 last night. Was fairly enjoyable but felt wayyyy long for an 90 minute movie.

 

Awesome haha. It looks pretty ridiculous. I assumed it had to be a good time.

 

goddamn Shout/Scream has some great titles coming out. holy motors, urband legend/s (!!!!), single white female, a beautiful new Thing steel that i will probably double dip for, creepshow, night of the demons steel, trick r treat, man in the iron mask, halloween ii/iii steels, ghost stories, brain dead, seventh skin, army of darkness and lifeforce and howling steels, the unborn. what a fuckin lineup. esp coming off in the mouth of madness in july!!

 

They've already filmed Happy Death Day 2? I had no idea they were even doing a sequel.

 

Blumhouse Interested In Resurrecting Other Classic Horror Franchises love hearing that he wants to take on the Universal Monsters. that would make me so happy haha

mm, im liking Hannibal more than i expected. the visual style and poetic scripts sometimes get a little up their own butts (the latter particularly with Hugh Dancy's predilection for slowly and breathily delivering melodramatic lines), but there's a lot of fun dramatic tension going on with a healthy dose of queer camp in there as well. and, i'm quite amazed they got away with this much on gore on network tv.

 

Stranger Prey at Night is hitting Amazon Prime on September 4th for those like myself that haven’t seen it yet and didn’t want to put money down for it haha

Looking to do a Hooptober-esque marathon from mid-September to Halloween with my friends. Anyone have any recs for the best streaming add-ons (Shudder/Full Moon/etc)? Plan is to use a PS4 to stream everything. I have a pretty huge collection of Scream Factory/other horror DVDs but I'm mainly looking for campy shitty obnoxious flicks. Also, we should do a Hooptober.
