Yeahhhhh I totally forgot about the wailing but it was great

 

Huber from EZA was raving about it upon release. The ending seriously gave me chills. The only thing I didn’t get was when the main character has sex with the woman. I could never tell if that was his wife or someone else. Then they never brought it up again lol

 

Finishing up a movie called Office. The the two main actors are masters at making you feel creeped the fuck out. Seriously, the guy who played Mr Kim nailed it, perfect expressions and mannerisms

edit: music choices were perfect too. enhanced, not jump scared

 

I take it you don’t mean the song-and-dance extravaganza that came out the same year?

 

haha nooo this is a Korean film from like 2015
@DarkHotline if you're looking for more Korean horror - this leans over into suspense more than horror but I enjoyed it.

edit: oh no kidding, the woman in Office played the girl in The Host, cool cool

 

Haha, the one I mentioned was Korean too, I believe. Either way, Korean cinema is my favorite so I’m going to check it out today.

That's appalling, but can't say I'm surprised either unfortunately.

 

I remember not caring much for Krampus when it came out but for some reason I’ve been dying to watch it again this season.

Watched Krampus last night. It’s been a tradition of ours since it came out. So much fun to watch.

 

Whoa. What the fuck. Is The Terror based on the book by Simmons? If so, hell yes, all on board. Great book. Hope the movie can do it justice.

 

Just rewatched it and boy did I hate it. Felt so half baked and the cast had zero chemistry, and the whole thing just seemed so disappointingly dispassionate to me.

 

I can't imagine not enjoying Krampus, especially if you love Gremlins (or Trick 'r Treat) as much as I do. It's everything a Christmas creature-feature should be. Campy and creepy in equal measure.

 

Going to my girlfriend’s mom’s house next week for a tree decorating party so I made an ornament for the occasion.

 

Watching a found footage movie called The Phoenix Tapes '97, hope it doesn't suck

Just finished Better Watch Out. It was a lot of fun. The kid had some really great acting moments but has his share of duds, too. Overall, really enjoyed it and will more than likely start trying to watch it annually.

 

Black Christmas is a perfect slasher film. Those phone calls, man...

 

the prime video app showed up on our apple tv at some point so i have been going through their stock of terrible found footage movies and i cannot recommend it





enough. they are so bad lolol
