Great pick

 

Perfect movie to watch with a good buzz. Should be fun

 

Houses October Built 2 was shit. Don't watch. They somehow manage to ruin the first movie.

 

The Babysitter was ok for me. Felt like it was trying really hard to be funny.

 

i watched Evil Ed last night lol it was mediocre

 

What are your favourite slashers dudes? Not necessarily favourite killer or franchise, but just your favourite singular slasher film

 

Really enjoyed Hell House LLC.

This summer my friend and I had The Prowler and The Burning to choose from, and we went with the former for whatever reason. Haven’t gotten to The Burning since then but I really ought to

 

it's top tier as far as slashers go, not even strictly in the campy or so bad it's good sense. terrific gore/makeup. plus, it influenced Clock Tower, an obscure but significant Japanese survival horror game.

 

What's that movie with Jamie Lee Curtis and the train cause I love that one idec. It had David Copperfield. Terror train!!

Maybe not an actual favorite, but I watched Just Before Dawn a few months ago and that was a particularly good one.

 

And if Maniac counts, that one too.

 

I tried to think of "recent" ones that I love and all I could think of is Curse of Chucky and The Final Girls. Both of those are great though.

 

Scream stands the test of time very well. I even enjoyed the 4th, idc what anyone says.

 

Yeah. Scream was able to infuse so much humor/satire without compromising on suspense and thrills. I always loved how clumsy the killer is, and yet it doesn’t make him/her any less scary.

 

Hatchet was a lot of fun. Ranks pretty high for me.

 

I’m going to see Victor Crowley in theatre tonight. I’m not a fan of the series, but it’s not often I get a chance to see a slasher on the big screen

 

That's awesome. The series as a whole is mediocre, but I just really enjoyed the first. Haven't seen the new one yet, hopefully you have a good time.

 

Scream is a masterpiece. Every time I watch it I'm blown away. One of my favorite movies of all time, regardless of genre.
