No I really didn't haha. I tried though!

  3. The Cube is sooooooo dated lmao I can't believe I've waited like a decade to see this movie since my local rental store only had the sequel.

I honestly found it to be laughably bad but I know I’m an outlier.

Did anyone watch that vault movie with James Franco?

I have not! The last movie I saw with him in it I was not a fan of. Why Him?

James Franco does enough different kinds of movies, so if a premise interests you I’d say it’s worth checking out

When you said The Cube in your list of movies, I spent a while on google trying to figure out what it was. I didn't realize you'd meant Cube haha

Don't know if this is being shown in the US at all as it had a limited release here in the UK but I really rather enjoyed it.

I was confused. Cube is a great movie, especially to show people, and I didn’t understand why you’d do me dirty like that

  11. whoops haha

I have confused it many times with The Cell

    The Cell is great too

  14. 30 minutes into Cube I googled the scene from The Cell when the horse gets split into pieces and realized they were completely different movies lol

Hell yeah, good to hear. One of my favorite books, the author is my favorite mind in horror at the moment.

Can't say I have read the book (didn't even know it was based on one until after viewing it) but well worth a watch either way, just a shame it doesn't seem to have found much of an audience.

Cube is imo techno camp cult classic potential

as for Zombie, i like his take rural American horror. i wouldnt necessarily call his movies objectively quality, but that's because i definitely partake in camp horror which i think he falls under. they're just so stylistically ridiculous, obscene, and humorous both in on the joke and not

I'm dying to see it. I believe there was a Netflix deal in the US, hopefully it will get an audience there. Anyone interested in horror should be reading his books.

i work in the strangest office ever.

was going to tie in something from The Shining - like redrum or "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" for our office decorating and out of 40 people maybe 5 have seen the damn film. and half the office is between 35-45 so it came out during their teenage / college years. and they haven't seen it! i mean, i don't love the film but goddamn watch a well regarded well known film every once in a while. christ!
